SPRING SHOW AUDITIONS: MARCH 7, 2026
We are delighted to announce that NJCYB’s spring performance will be Once Upon a Dream: Fairy Tales in Ballet! This program will include: Peter and the Wolf, Aurora's Wedding (Act 3 of Sleeping Beauty), and a new contemporary ballet choreographed by Alex & Ashley. NJCYB is excited to present this production at Sitnik Theater at Centenary University on June 7th!
Below we have detailed all the information about the participation fees, the audition, the rehearsals, the dress rehearsal, the performance, and family obligations. Please review all this information prior to registering for the audition and let us know if you have any questions!
Participation fees
- Total fee: $150 which includes: the Audition Fee: $30 - due at the time of the audition (3/7) and the Membership Fee: $120 - due after casting has been released and by the first rehearsal (3/21)
- The fees are non-refundable even in the event that the performance is canceled.
- Members who paid for full-time NJCYB memberships in the fall do not owe any additional fees this spring.
Audition Information
- Date: Saturday, March 7th
- Time: 2:30-4:30pm
- Location: North Jersey School of Dance Arts, 400D Valentine St, Hackettstown, NJ 07840
- Dancers ages 5 and up are able to audition.
- Registration for the audition is REQUIRED.
- Dancers must register for the audition by 5pm on Friday, March 6th.
- Only registered dancers will receive the audition schedule by the evening of Friday, March 6th.

At the New Jersey Civic Youth Ballet (NJCYB), we believe every dancer deserves the opportunity to grow artistically, technically in a supportive and professional environment. As the only nonprofit ballet company based in Warren County, we are proud to offer young dancers the unique chance to perform in high-caliber productions, including our annual Nutcracker and a spring performance each June.
Dancers ages 5 to 18 who are passionate about ballet and eager to be a part of something truly special are encouraged to audition. We welcome students from all dance backgrounds and training programs.
