The Nutcracker is magical—but fees can keep kids off the stage. Your gift removes barriers like audition and membership fees, volunteer deposits, ticket minimums, raffle books, and playbill ads (not optional items like costumes or photos).

Your donation allows a child to participate in a professionally staged ballet with NJCYB. This experience includes:
Weekly rehearsals from September through December (Fridays & Saturdays)
Hours of dance education guided by experienced teachers and mentors
A chance to dance among professionals on stage
The opportunity to live a dream and perform in The Nutcracker
The 2025 Nutcracker will be performed December 19th–21st.

What exactly does the award cover?
Required program fees only (see list above). Optional items are not included.
How are dancers selected?
Awards are need-based, using a simple application reviewed confidentially by NJCYB President and Treasurer.
