FROM THE FIRST SNOWFALL TO THE FINAL BOW, THE NUTCRACKER IS WHERE DREAMS DANCE.

Auditioning for the 2025 Nutcracker with New Jersey Civic Youth Ballet (NJCYB) is a chance to bring a timeless holiday classic to life while growing as a performer.

We welcome dancers ages 5–18 to audition and be part of this magical production. NJCYB offers expert instruction, a professionally produced performance, and a supportive environment where dancers of all levels can thrive. Our cast members have the unique opportunity to share the stage with professional ballerinas, gaining invaluable experience and inspiration.

This rare opportunity provides not only skill development but also meaningful mentorship, inspiring young dancers to grow in confidence, refine their craft, and pursue their goals with guidance from those who have walked the professional path.

WHO SHOULD AUDITION

We welcome dancers ages 5 to 18 at all skill levels to audition for The Nutcracker. Roles are assigned based on experience, ability, and the needs of the production to ensure the best fit for every dancer.
